Looking for a new career in 2024? Where better to look than a top Canadian employer?
Air Canada has been named among Canada’s top employers of 2024 by Forbes in its ranking of the country’s best places to work.
If working for one of the country’s best employers sounds good to you, the airline is hiring for multiple roles across the country, including flight attendants, with some pretty sweet travel perks on offer.
Forbes says its annual ranking, which was created with market research firm Statista, is based on a survey of more than 40,000 people working for Canadian companies with at least 500 workers.
Respondents were asked to rate their employer based on criteria including salary, gender pay equity, work flexibility, promotion opportunities and on-the-job training. Participants were also asked if they would recommend their employer to others.
Each employer was then given a score, with the top 300 companies making the final list.
Air Canada was ranked 185 on the list of Canada’s top employers, ranking ahead of other airlines including Porter, WestJet and Transat.
The airline was also named one of the top employers for young people in Canada in 2024 by Mediacorp.
