Record Setting $7.19 Million Lotto 47 Jackpot Won Online

A Michigan Lottery player made history Wednesday night winning a $7.19 million Lotto 47 jackpot with a ticket bought online at MichiganLottery.com. The jackpot is the largest prize ever won online.

The lucky player matched all six numbers drawn – 22-24-26-40-41-44 – to win the jackpot. The previous record for the largest prize won online at MichiganLottery.com was $5.75 million. That record-setting prize was won in back-to-back months in February and March of 2021 by two Lucky For Life players.

“Congratulations to the lucky Michigan Lottery player who made history last night winning a $7.19 million Lotto 47 jackpot, with a ticket bought online,” said Lottery Commissioner, Suzanna Shkreli. “The Lottery’s online game portfolio gives Michiganders the chance to win huge jackpot prizes with tools that promote responsible play while supporting public schools. This is a huge win for the lucky player and the Michigan Lottery’s industry-leading online game platform.”

The big win marks the third time the Lotto 47 jackpot has been won in 2024. On Jan. 21 a $4.37 million Lotto 47 jackpot was won with a ticket bought at the Amvets Post 110, located at 127 West Cass Street in Cadillac. On Jan. 31, a $1.1 million Lotto 47 jackpot was won with a ticket bought at the Family Fare, located at 565 South State Street in Sparta. Both of those prizes have been claimed.

The lucky player who won last night’s jackpot should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to setup an appointment to claim their prize. Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the date of the drawing.

Michigan Lottery players have a chance to win prizes ranging from $1 up to multimillion-dollar jackpots playing online instant games, Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky for Life, Lotto 47, and Fantasy 5 online. Through its online platform, the Lottery offers players more than 200 different games with plays ranging in price from 5 cents to $50.

Each Lotto 47 play is only $1. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million and that grows until someone wins it. For an additional $1 per play, Double Play may be added to a Lotto 47 ticket, giving players a second chance to win up to $1.5 million in the nightly Double Play drawing. For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Lotto 47 drawings take place on Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased at a retailer or online at MichiganLottery.com until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
