Tiffany to move Toronto flagship store

Tiffany and Co. is moving its Toronto store to 1200 Bay Street, Retail Insider reported.

The jeweler will occupy 15,000 across two floors in the tower’s corner unit. The second floor will have 24-foot ceilings, as the third floor of the building will be removed.

ProWinko Canada and the Kroonenberg Groep bought the 12-storey 1200 Bay Street in 2016, according to the report. Tiffany’s current Toronto flagship store is at 150 Bloor Street West, owned by Pontegadea.

Tiffany’s agreement includes naming rights for the building, and the company also has the option to move its offices to the property’s fourth floor.

Tiffany plans to open a new store in Montreal at Royalmount in August and will return to Oakridge Park in Vancouver in 2025.
