Moodie Mair Walker LLP is a Toronto law firm specializing in civil litigation. The firm practices in the areas of insurance law, personal injury law, and professional liability. Three of the firm’s partners grew up in northern Ontario: one in Sudbury, one in Sault Ste. Marie, and one partner, Ian Mair, grew up in Elliot Lake.
MMW’s lawyers and staff were moved by the enthusiasm of Elliot Lake’s Kraft Hockeyville campaign. (And, members of the firm all cast their votes for the winning town!) MMW Partners were inspired to take up the challenge issued to past Elliot Lake residents and their businesses by Jim and Jo-Ann Armstrong. And Moodie Mair Walker LLP is pleased to donate the sum of $10,000.00 to the Centennial Arena restoration project.
The firm makes this donation in honour of The Volunteers, Past and Present: the builders, committee members, fund raisers, organizers, conveners, coaches, referees and judges. These men and women, through their selfless efforts and dedication, enriched the lives of generations of boys and girls, and helped make Elliot Lake a wonderful place to grow up.
With their $10,000 donation, the new total amount raised currently sits at $385,757!
